This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Beverly Ostrander.  You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

 

Beverly J. Ostrander was born June 7, 1934 to Leslie William and Nina Grace (Dughman) Martin.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings,  Joyce and Orville Martin.

 

Beverly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was born in raised in Central City, graduating from Central City High School in 1950. 

 

She was married to Donald Dean Ostrander for over 55 years.  Throughout  their married years, they lived in Central City, Belgrade and Grand Island, Nebraska.  Along with her many duties as wife and mother, she also  found time to work outside the home at the cafe in Central City, L & L Distributing and Skagway in Grand Island.  She was an active member in the Eagles and Doniphan American Legion.  She loved jigsaw and crossword puzzles, going to casinos, bowling, playing cards, spending time with family and friends, and, of course, Husker football.

 

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Don; seven children: Becky (Mark) Otto; Donna (Tad) Larsen; Kate (Rob) Ruger; Wendy (Cory) Bunde; Roger,  Bill and Doug Ostrander; eleven grandchildren: Brenda Foster; Brandon (Alycia) Packer; Ann (Lee) Buchanan; Aaron and Alex Otto; Crystal Larsen; Tyler and Jordan Ruger; Michael, Christopher and Misty Bunde;  eight great-grandchildren: Justin and Brittany Grupe; Schyler, Drake, Brant, and Corbin Packer; Brody Buchanan; and Gavin Otto; one brother, Darrell (Willie) Martin and one sister, Gloria (Alvin) Glover, and many other loving friends and family.

 

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
